CAPE TOWN - The sexual assault case against a Reddam House music teacher will be moved to a higher court.
The 32-year-old appeared briefly in the Wynberg Magistrates Court today.
He was fired in May, following allegations that he sexually assaulted several pupils during music lessons at the Constantia School.
He has been accused of inappropriately touching at least six boys, between the ages of nine and 10 years old.
The incidents are believed to have taken place during music classes. In an affidavit the accused says he was employed at Reddam House as a music teacher in 2010 and his contract was terminated earlier this year.
Bail has been extended until his next court appearance on 12 October
