DE AAR - RAPE SUSPECTED AFTER 13 YEAR OLD'S BODY FOUND!

A 13-year old girl’s body was found by a passerby in De Aar early on Sunday morning, said Northern Cape police on Monday. A man has since been arrested in connection to her death.

According to police spokesperson Lieutenant Sergio Kock, a man found Nomvuyo Daki’s body at 5am yesterday morning, close to the suspect’s home.

“Her body was on the pavement and she suffered some head injuries. At this stage, we cannot rule out the possibility of rape,” he said.

It’s alleged the teen had visited the suspect’s house before she was found dead.

 

The suspect will appear in the De Aar Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
