Eastern Cape police say a 30-year-old man has been arrested in Dutywa for allegedly raping his girlfriend after she apparently failed to give him money.Officials say the suspect visited his 25-year-old girlfriend at the GPO informal settlement last Thursday demanding money from her.
He then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
“This man demanded money from his girlfriend and when she declined she was accosted and raped,” says the police’s Jackson Manatha.
