He was arrested in Greenpoint by Interpol on Friday. Local police assisted with the arrest.
According to a report from EWN, the man seconded from sentencing in the UK over ten years ago.
Interpol issued a warrant for his arrest.He has been in Cape Town for several years, apparently working as a helicopter pilot.
He is being held at the Sea Point Police Station, and is expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday on sexual offence charges.
