A Kingfisher FM DJ was arrested in Port Elizabeth on Tuesday, for allegedly threatening to sexually assault a woman he was speaking to on the phone, The Times reported on Wednesday.According to the report the 22-year old radio presenter was arrested at the Kingfisher FM offices by undercover police officers.
He faces charges under section 5(2) of the Sexual Offences Act which states a person who intentionally inspires the belief in another person that they will be sexually violated is guilty of the offence even though it has not yet happened.
The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit is heading the investigation.
