CAPE TOWN - DELFT - MOTHER FINDS 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN BED WITH 49 YEAR OLD LANDLORD!

A mother has revealed her horror at finding her 13-year-old daughter having sex with their 49-year-old landlord.

Earlier this year, the Daily Voice brought you the story of the Delft teenager and her alleged affair with her family’s landlord.

Relatives had begged the girl’s mom to lay charges of rape against the landlord, but she had refused.
That was until last week, when the mother claimed she saw the suspect having sex with her daughter.
The man, whose identity is known to the Daily Voice, appeared in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday on a charge of statutory rape.

The suspect cannot be named as it would identify his victim, whose family still live on his property.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut said the suspect was arrested at his Delft home on Sunday.

The matter has been postponed and the landlord is expected back in court next Tuesday. He remains behind bars.

The mother said she was shocked to find her troubled daughter at court on Tuesday to support the suspect.

The woman said: “When he came out he turned to the gallery, he must have been looking for my daughter, but he saw me instead.

“When the case was finished I was shocked to see my daughter sitting outside the courtroom.
The woman said her daughter had been sent to a place of safety on Tuesday, but ran home after a day.
“On Wednesday her social worker came to fetch her again and she was taken to another place where she’ll stay for three months,” she said.

The mother of nine said she still cannot get over the shock of seeing her teenage daughter in bed with their landlord.

“On Sunday morning she thought I was asleep so she got up and went [into the main house].
“She first went into the toilet and knocked against the wall so he [landlord] could open the door.
“When I went to the house the gate was locked but the door was open. I could see into his room.

“As I stood there I saw him on top of her while they were underneath the blankets.

“I called my eldest son. I didn’t want to see any more,” said the horrified mom.

The woman said she later confronted her daughter.

“I told her that I saw everything.

“I was very angry and I told her, ‘Gaan shower jou gat’. (Go shower yourself)

“I went to a friend’s house to look for a painkiller because I was stressed out.

“When I came back my son called me to the door but told me to keep quiet. I looked into the house [through the security gate] and they were having sex again.

“I couldn’t take it anymore so I went to the police station.

The suspect was arrested after the girl was examined and test results showed she was sexually active.
“I don’t want him to come out of jail for using my child,” she added.
