BLOEMFONTEIN - DANISH MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY REMOVED AND FROZE FEMALE GENITALIA HAS CASE POSTPONED!

The case against a Danish man arrested for allegedly surgically removing and freezing women’s genitals at his home has been postponed until next week in the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court.

Peter Frederiksen, who is 63-year-old, was arrested last week after a tip off.
He allegedly sedated his victims by spiking their drinks before performing genital mutilation surgery on them.

Officials also found surgical equipment and over 500 photos of the women he had allegedly performed illegal surgeries on.

Today’s proceedings were conducted through audiovisual communication which means that Frederikson did not physically appear in court.

The presiding magistrate spoke to the 63-year-old accused via a television.

Frederickson was sitting in a room at the Grootvlei Prison in Bloemfontein.

The National Prosecuting Authority’s Phaladi Shopeng said, “The Danish national appeared through AVR this morning and the matter was postponed to next week Monday.”

Frederiksen's wife has since fled to Lesotho, leaving their two young children in the care of social services in Bloemfontein.

The Hawks say she was among his victims and it’s believed she was the person who told authorities about her husband’s alleged activities.

Frederickson is expected back in court next Monday for a formal bail application.
